Irina RYCHKOV est Maitre de Conferences à l'Université Paris -1 Pantheon-Sorbonne et membre du Centre de Recherche en Informatique (CRI) de Paris 1.  Elle est responsable de Master Internationale  IKSEM: Information & Knowledge Systems: Engineering and Management à la Sorbonne, responsable de mobilité des étudiants pour la MIAGE-Sorbonne, et membre de CCS de l'UFR 27. Elle a obtenu son doctorat en 2008 à l’Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), en Suisse, sur le sujet "Formal Semantics for Refinement Verification of Enterprise Models". Sa recherche porte sur l'ingénierie de systèmes et des entreprises, en particulier les approches de modélisation et d'analyse des processus collaboratifs dirigés par les connaissances humains et prise de décisions. Irina est organisatrice et éditeur scientifique de AdaptiveCM, le membre de comité de programme de conférences internationales (CAiSE, RCIS, PoEM etc.), expert dans le comité d'évaluation « WfMC : Awards for Excellence in Case Management », évaluateur invité pour les revues  Springer ISeB et IJISIM. En 2015, elle a obtenu la Prime d'Encadrement Doctoral et de Recherche (PEDR) par le ministère de l’enseignement supérieur pour une durée de 5 ans.
Avant de rejoindre le CRI Irina Rychkova a travaillé comme assistant de recherche et d’enseignement au Laboratoire de Modélisation Systémique (LAMS) de l’EPFL. Elle a également travaillé pendant six mois chez adidas Global IT, en Allemagne (architecte d'entreprise).
